New Delhi: Police reported that a CEO of an online shopping company, identified as Vivek Gaur, has been arrested in Gurgaon's Sector 54 in connection with cheating cases. The company, which specialized in online retailing garments and accessories, raised investments from small businesses and investors in India and abroad. It sourced raw materials from small businesses in the Delhi-NCR region by issuing cheques in exchange. Subsequently, the company declared insolvency and shut down. There were five complaints filed against the accused. In 2011, Vivek Gaur, along with a friend who served as the company's COO, founded the online shopping company in Gurgaon.
